Reverie, Interrupted in Recital
On March 25th, James Adler and Jordan P. Smith will present Mr. Adler's Reverie, Interrupted for Tenor Saxophone and Piano as part of the Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension division faculty recital. Mr. Adler and Mr. Smith will be joined by other colleagues from the extension division for an afternoon of eclectic music, to begin at 4pm in Schare Recital Hall at the Marryott Music Building on the Douglass Campus of Rutgers, New Brunswick.

PARMA Recordings has just released James Adler's Reverie, Interrupted with Jordan P Smith, tenor saxophone, and James Adler, piano on a disc entitled "Sculpting the Air: Modern Works for Wind Instruments." Albany Records has just released James Adler's Relfections upon a September morn with Kate Maroney, mezzo-soprano, Virginia Brewer, English horn and oboe, and James Adler, piano. Feature poetry by Walt Whitman, this remembrance of 9/11 is released as a digital single and is available for download from iTunes and at amazon.com.
